Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Radamel Falcao and Saido Berahino Rumours
Fenerbahce's growing interest in a move for Chelsea flop Radamel Falcao could see the Colombian leave Stamford Bridge in January, but West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is fighting to keep hold of Saido Berahino.
According to Turkish outlet Haber Ler, Fenerbahce will look to tempt Monaco into ending Falcao's Chelsea loan early and reunite the striker with former Manchester United team-mate Robin van Persie (h/t Sport Witness).

It's suggested the Blues would be open to such a move after seeing Falcao score just once in 11 appearances across all competitions this season, allowing them to invest in a new January arrival.
Sport Witness claims it's "expected" that Monaco would also agree to his early exit from west London as Falcao, previously seen as one of the world's leading hitmen, attempts to rediscover his best form.
Jose Mourinho's side currently sit 14th in the Premier League standings and need to take their opportunity to offload any dead weight, meaning January represents an opportunity to rejuvenate their squad.
Injuries have also played their part in stunting Falcao's form in west London, but he recently insisted he'll be back to his best after resuming training:
It is noted that Van Persie and Falcao didn't succeed quite as many Manchester United fans may have hoped during their time together at Old Trafford, but the Super Lig would provide an easier hunting ground.
ESPN FC's Alex Shaw even goes so far as to suggest Falcao is worse now than he was at Manchester United, when he managed just four goals in a sole season on loan at Old Trafford:
Berahino is considered one of the favourites to replace Falcao should he leave given his previous links to Chelsea, per the Telegraph's John Percy, but Pulis remains protective of the misfiring youngster.
The West Brom starlet endured a difficult summer of transfer speculation and has since fallen out of favour under Pulis, but the boss was pleasantly surprised by Berahino's request to feature for the under-21s, per Steve Madeley of the Daily Express:
"We don't want it just for Christmas, we want him back in the fold and as good as he was last year.
Saido asked to play (in the under-21s). He wanted to have a game. His attitude was first class and he scored a good goal.
He needed a game to get closer to match fitness and over the Christmas period, with the amount of games coming up, it's good he has got game time.
"
Berahino netted 20 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions last season, but several transfer windows linking him with a move to one of England's powerhouses appear to have had an affect on the player.
Pulis added that his side are more concerned with the fixtures directly in front of them, such as Sunday's clash at Liverpool, and aren't focused on transfer speculation:
“We're more concerned with the games leading up to January 1. You can’t do anything at the moment. My mind is totally and utterly focused on what we've got. They are tough games, we need to go to Anfield and put a good performance in.”

England manager Roy Hodgson has recognised Berahino's talent in the past by calling the striker up to the Three Lions squad, but the 22-year-old now looks some way from getting back in the team.
One might debate whether a move to Stamford Bridge would serve the Baggies "bad boy" in that regard, considering Diego Costa and Loic Remy would provide stiff competition for a starting spot.
