Benjamin Active vs. Falcons

Sunday, Oct. 23

The Chargers announced that Benjamin is available to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Latest on Benjamin's Practice Status

Friday, Oct. 21

Per the Chargers' official website, Benjamin has been a limited participant in practice each of the last two days with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Chargers Need Benjamin to Turn Around Season

Benjamin has finally delivered on his athleticism and speed to turn into a No. 1 receiver during his fourth season in the league. He never tallied more than 314 receiving yards in any of his first three campaigns, but he had 966 in a full 16 games in 2015 for the Cleveland Browns.

He is off to a good start with 411 yards and two touchdowns on 31 receptions through six games. His 68.5 yards per game is a career-high, per Pro-Football-Reference.com

Benjamin signed with San Diego during the offseason after his breakout campaign in Cleveland. He was mostly an afterthought in his first three years (717 combined receiving yards and five touchdown catches) but nearly racked up 1,000 yards through the air for a Browns team that ranked a middling 21st in the league in passing yards last season.
