Chelsea V Tottenham is always an interesting and somewhat fiery fixture, and this time round was no different. Chelsea had a fine game in what was highly anticipated to be a close encounter.

3-0 was the score on a fine Sunday afternoon. Many Tottenham supporters will be some what dissapointed at the result, as their form of late has been tremendous.  Chelsea didn't start quickly but they certaintly improved as the game went on and looked good for their money as the 90 minutes went on.

The first goal, nodded in by Ashley Cole was a tremendous effort which was started by a right-back and finished by a left-back, which shows that they were tactically sound. This goal got the game rolling, and although Tottenham showed a few signs of hope going forward, nothing really came of it, until the penalty decision. There is no doubt Robbie Keane was tripped by Carvalho, but the referee Howard Webb was having none of it. Which left Tottenham players furious. You got a sense from then on that it was down hill from there. Matters were made worse by Chelsea then going two in front with a  Michael Ballack effort in the 57th minute.

Things went from bad to worse for Tottenham just to add salt to the wounds they had now lost Ledly King to what seemed to be a nasty knock, could this be another dissapointing season for King and fans alike?

Drogba rounded of the game with a third goal which was made by his great touch after a long ball was placed over the top.

Although Carlo Cudicini didn't look on top of his game he did make a few good reaction saves and did manage to finally turn Jon Obi Mikel's late effort around the post, after intiallt squandering it under his body.

It really wasnt Tottenham's day as once again injusry struck when Sebastion Bassong landed awkwardly on his shoulder and was carried off. Chelsea then had a taste of injury as Didier Drogba was carried off in the 83rd minute with a calf injury.

Will Carlo and his men be able to carry on their 100% win record, after beating bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur. One things for sure they will hope Didier Drogba is not out for a a long period of time as he could be key to Chelsea's success.
