An Important Time for Michigan Wolverines' Tate Forcier
When Tate Forcier first arrived in Ann Arbor, excitement filled the air and hope was restored. Michigan had finally gotten the quarterback that could run Rich Rodriguez's spread offense.
Needless to say, hopes and expectations for Forcier were very high.
Three games into the season, he has not disappointed. He has just been outstanding.

Ranking Biggest Playoff Upsets Ever 🤯
Forcier looks a lot more like an upperclassman than a true freshman. I, myself, was excited when he committed to Michigan, but I didn't expect him to be this good so quickly.
This Saturday, Michigan begins it's Big Ten schedule against Indiana. While the Hoosiers aren't exactly the cream of the crop in the conference, it will be important for Forcier and the Wolverines to get an impressive win to start the campaign. For Forcier, it is his first conference game and that is always huge.
The larger issue for Forcier as the season progresses is that other teams now have more game film on him. That is really what makes this an important time for him. Defensive coordinators throughout the Big Ten will now be able to study his strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies. The more games he plays, the more information coaches will have.
The point is that Forcier has been outstanding early on. However, he has been outstanding against teams that didn't know much about him or his strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies. In order for Forcier to continue to have a great season, he has to learn on the fly how to adjust to defenses that are adjusting to him.
From what I see so far, I think he is a very smart kid who will be able to make the adjustment just fine. But still, it is a very important time for him in his development.
