NHL/The Rangers and Brandon Dubinsky have agreed to a two year deal that will finally allow the young center to get back on the ice.  The numbers haven’t been released yet but we will update when the information becomes available.

Sources: Andrew Gross and Steve Zipay.

UPDATE: Dubinsky’s contract is said to be for $3.7 mil over two years as he’ll be making $1.7 mil this year and $2 mil the next. That is a cap hit of $1.85 mil.

From Steve Zipay:

The 23-year-old center ends his eight-day holdout with a pact beleived to be worth about $2 million. Solves a big issue for the Blueshirts. GM Glen Sather told Dubinsky that he was to skate at the training centter and be ready for practice Monday.

I wonder if he’ll play Monday.
