Welcome to the best time of the year, sports fans. The first week of the season is in the books and what a week it was. Here is where I will tell you who I think you should start or who I think you should sit for your fantasy team.

This year, I will give you your obvious must starts (guys you start every week no matter who they play), a few players from each position who you should start, a sleeper start 'em, and a must sit 'em.

Also, I will be giving projections for those players. Enough talk, let’s get down to business!

QB Obvious Must Starts

Drew Brees – NO vs. PHI – Projection: 300 Yards, 4 TD, 1 INT

Peyton Manning – IND vs. MIA – Projection: 285 Yards, 3 TD, 1 INT

Tom Brady – NE vs. NYJ – Projection: 275 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Philip Rivers – SD vs. BAL – Projection: 275 Yards 2 TD, 1 INT

Aaron Rodgers – GB vs. CIN – Projection: 275 Yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Kurt Warner – ARI vs. JAX – Projection: 295 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

QB Start 'Em

Brett Favre – Minnesota Vikings vs. DET – Favre was a game manager last week, but you can’t help but start him against Detroit after what Drew Brees did to them last week. Especially when his running back is Adrian Peterson. Start 'Em. Projection: 200 Yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Trent Edwards – Buffalo Bills vs. TB – Despite all the problems in the pre-season, Edwards looked good in week one against New England. This week, he gets Tampa Bay, who allowed 344 Yards Passing last week. Start 'Em. Projection: 270 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Jason Campbell – Washington Redskins vs. STL – Campbell didn’t have a great week against the Giants last week, but this week he plays the Rams. They allowed 279 yards passing last week and they also have to worry about Clinton Portis torching them. Sleeper Start 'Em. Projection: 250 Yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

QB Sit 'Em

Matt Cassel – Kansas City Chiefs vs. OAK – Oakland played pretty well last week against a very good San Diego team. Kansas City isn’t anywhere near as good as San Diego and Cassel still has a knee injury and may not play. Sit 'Em. Projection: 175 Yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

Kyle Orton – Denver Broncos vs. CLE – Cleveland held Minnesota’s passing game in check for the most part, but that was mainly because they were so focused on Adrian Peterson.

However, Orton didn’t look much better against Cincinnati. Look for Denver to run the ball a bit more and Orton to struggle yet again. Sit 'Em. Projection: 200 Yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

Marc Bulger – St. Louis Rams vs. WAS – Last week wasn’t great for Bulger and the Rams, as they were shut out by Seattle. If they can’t get the running game going this week, then Bulger will be equally ineffective. This early in the season, you can’t take chances. Must Sit 'Em. Projection: 185 Yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

RB Obvious Must Starts

Adrian Peterson – MIN vs. DET – Projection: 175 Yards Rushing, 2 TD, 2 Receptions, 20 Yards

Michael Turner – ATL vs. CAR – Projection: 100 Yards, 1 TD

Maurice Jones-Drew – JAX vs. ARI – Projection: 75 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 6 Receptions, 45 Yards

Steven Jackson – STL vs. WAS – Projection: 80 Yards Rushing, 4 Receptions, 30 Yards

Matt Forte – CHI vs. PIT – Projection: 45 Yards Rushing, 5 Receptions, 40 Yards

Chris Johnson – TEN vs. HOU – Projection: 110 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 2 Receptions, 15 Yards

RB Start 'Em

Darren McFadden – Oakland Raiders vs. KC – Kansas City has no run defense as they allowed 198 yards last week and McFadden had a decent game (68 Yards Rushing, 25 Yards Receiving) against a good San Diego Defense. Start 'Em. Projection: 100 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 3 Receptions, 25 Yards

Brandon Jacobs – New York Giants vs. DAL – Jacobs was held in check last week, being held to just 46 yards, but he should get into the end zone this week. Start 'Em. Projection: 75 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 2 Receptions, 10 Yards

Fred Jackson – Buffalo Bills vs. TB – Jackson started his season out very nicely last week with 57 Yards Rushing and 83 Yards Receiving with a touchdown against New England.

Now, he goes against Tampa Bay who allowed 118 Yards Rushing last week. Look for Jackson to put up similar numbers to last week. Sleeper Start 'Em. Projection: 80 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 5 Receptions, 50 Yards

RB Sit Em’

Kevin Smith – Detroit Lions vs. MIN – Even though he scored a touchdown, Smith was a bust last week against the Saints, unless you play in a PPR league. He had just 20 yards rushing, but caught seven passes for 52 yards. He faces the NFL’s top Rushing Defense this week, so I expect much of the same. Sit 'Em. Projection: 25 Yards Rushing, 1 TD, 6 Receptions, 45 Yards

Fred Taylor/Sammy Morris/Laurence Maroney/Kevin Faulk – New England Patriots vs. NYJ – With the carry split in New England, it is never safe to start any one of these backs, especially against a Jets Defense that allowed just 38 Yards Rushing last week. Sit 'Em All. Projections: Taylor: 35 Yards Rushing, 1 TD – Morris: 20 Yards Rushing – Maroney: 30 Yards Rushing, 2 Receptions, 10 Yards – Faulk: 10 Yards Rushing, 5 Receptions, 45 Yards

Willie Parker – Pittsburgh Steelers vs. CHI – Parker hasn’t been the same since his injuries and had a miserable performance against a tough Tennessee D last week. He goes against a Bears D that lost Brian Urlacher, but only allowed 76 Yards rushing last week.

He also has to worry about Rashard Mendenhall and Mewelde Moore taking his carries. Must Sit 'Em. Projection: 40 Yards Rushing, 2 Receptions, 10 Yards

WR Obvious Must Starts

Randy Moss – NE vs. NYJ – Projection: 9 Receptions, 100 Yards, 1 TD

Wes Welker – NE vs. NYJ – Projection: 11 Receptions, 90 Yards

Andre Johnson – HOU vs. TEN – Projection: 7 Receptions, 80 Yards, 1 TD

Larry Fitzgerald – ARI vs. JAX – Projection: 9 Receptions, 115 Yards, 1 TD

Anquan Boldin – ARI vs. JAX – Projection: 6 Receptions, 70 Yards, 1 TD

Steve Smith – CAR vs. ATL – Projection: 7 Receptions, 70 Yards

Reggie Wayne – IND vs. MIA – Projection: 8 Receptions, 105 Yards, 1 TD

Calvin Johnson – DET vs. MIN – Projection: 6 Receptions, 85 Yards, 1 TD

Greg Jennings – GB vs. CIN – Projection: 6 Receptions, 100 Yards, 1 TD

Marques Colston – NO vs. PHI – Projection: 6 Receptions, 60 Yards, 1 TD

Roddy White – ATL vs. CAR – Projection: 6 receptions, 75 Yards, 1 TD

WR Start Em’

Terrell Owens and Lee Evans – Buffalo Bills vs. TB – Tampa Bay allowed 344 Yards passing last week. This bodes very well for TO and Lee Evans and I expect them to get on track this week. Start 'Em Both. Projections: Owens: 8 Receptions, 75 Yards, 1 TD – Evans: 7 Receptions, 85 Yards, 1 TD

Santonio Holmes – Pittsburgh Steelers vs. CHI – Holmes put up monster numbers last week against Tennessee and I think that he will put up much of the same this week against Chicago as Big Ben should go back to his favorite target often. Start 'Em. Projection: 7 Receptions, 100 Yards, 1 TD

Bernard Berrian and Percy Harvin – Minnesota Vikings vs. DET – Brett Favre at QB, Adrian Peterson at RB, and they are playing Detroit. Need I say more? Start 'Em Both. Projections: Berrian: 6 Receptions 75 Yards – Harvin: 5 Receptions, 40 Yards, 1 TD, 20 Yards Rushing

Justin Gage – Tennessee Titans vs. HOU – Gage played very well last week, catching seven balls for 78 Yards and a touchdown against Pittsburgh. He looks like QB Kerry Collins’ No. 1 target and could be a nice play against Houston this week. Sleeper Start Em’. Projection: 6 Receptions, 60 Yards, 1 TD

WR Sit 'Em

Antonio Bryant – Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. BUF – Bryant has some knee problems and only caught two passes for 29 Yards last week. I am not thrilled with his QB and I don’t like his chances of turning things around this week. Sit 'Em. Projection: 3 Receptions, 30 Yards

Chad Ocho Cinco – Cincinnati Bengals vs. GB – Ocho Cinco had a decent opening week against Denver, with five Receptions for 89 Yards and even rushing for eight yards.

However, he is playing against a Green Bay D that Intercepted Jay Cutler four times last week and Ocho Cinco will be blanketed by Charles Woodson all game long. Sit Em’. Projection: 6 Receptions, 80 Yards

Dwayne Bowe – Kansas City Chiefs vs. OAK – Bowe had a decent week one with Brodie Croyle at QB. He caught four passes for 40 Yards and a Touchdown against Baltimore.

However, he will be covered by one of the best cover corners in the NFL in Nnamdi Asomugha and he doesn’t know who will be playing QB. I don’t like it. Must Sit 'Em. Projection: 4 Receptions, 35 Yards

TE Obvious Must Starts

Jason Witten – DAL vs. NYG – Projection: 7 Receptions, 75 Yards, 1 TD

Antonio Gates – SD vs. BAL – Projection: 7 Receptions, 80 Yards, 1 TD

Tony Gonzalez – ATL vs. CAR – Projection: 6 Receptions, 75 Yards, 1 TD

Dallas Clark – IND vs. MIA – Projection: 8 receptions, 85 Yards, 1 TD

TE Start 'Em

Chris Cooley – Washington Redskins vs. STL – Cooley was extremely involved in the Offense last week, catching seven passes for 68 Yards and a Touchdown against a very good Giants D. This week he faces the not-so-tough St. Louis Rams D. Start Em’. Projection: 7 Receptions, 60 Yards, 1 TD

Visanthe Shiancoe – Minnesota Vikings vs. DET – Once again, Brett Favre at QB, Adrian Peterson at RB, and they are playing Detroit. Need I say more? Start Em’. Projection: 5 Receptions, 40 Yards, 1 TD

John Carlson – Seattle Seahawks vs. SF – Carlson had more points than any TE last week when he caught six passes for 95 yards and two Touchdowns. This week, he gets San Francisco, who allowed 259 Yards Passing last week. Start Em’. Projection: 5 Receptions, 70 Yards, 1 TD

TE Sit 'Em

Anthony Fasano – Miami Dolphins vs. IND – Fasano wasn’t targeted very much last week and this week he faces Indianapolis, who only allowed 114 yards passing last week. Sit 'Em. Projection: 3 Receptions, 30 Yards

Vernon Davis – San Francisco 49ers vs. SEA – Seattle shutout St. Louis last week and only allowed 170 Yards passing. Not to mention he only has eight catches in five games against Seattle in his career. Sit Em’. Projection: 4 Receptions, 35 Yards

D/ST Start Em’

Minnesota Vikings vs. DET – Stafford threw three Interceptions last week against the Saints and now has to face the Williams Wall and Jared Allen. Start Em’.

Washington Redskins vs. STL – The Rams were shutout by Seattle last week and Washington has a better Defense than Seattle. Start 'Em.

D/ST Sit Em’

Dallas Cowboys vs. NYG – Dallas allowed 174 Yards Rushing last week to Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward. What do you think Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw will do? Sit 'Em.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. ARI – This is the week that the Cardinals Offense explodes. Jacksonville allowed Peyton Manning to throw to Reggie Wayne 10 times for 162 Yards and a Touchdown.

How are they going to stop Kurt Warner from throwing to Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin? Sit 'Em.
