5-Star Georgia QB Commit Jacob Eason Totals 5 TDs in Week 4
In his case to be crowned as the nation’s top quarterback in the 2016 cycle, 5-star passer and current Georgia pledge Jacob Eason delivered another sterling performance in leading Lake Stevens (Washington) High School to a 48-7 win over Snohomish.
According to the Everett Herald, the 6’5”, 205-pound Eason completed 12 of his 15 passes for 195 yards and four touchdowns. He added another score on a 25-yard touchdown run.

The Vikings have raced to a 4-0 start in large part due to the excellence Eason has displayed throughout the first month of the season.
As Jeff Sentell of DawgNation details, Eason has been lights-out thus far. He’s completed 55 of his 76 passes for 1,025 yards, with 10 touchdown passes and zero interceptions to date. He’s completed 72 percent despite a number of passes being dropped.
For a prospect who has all of the physical tools necessary to be an elite quarterback at the next level, Eason’s body of work to date is a positive sign that he’s on track to be the quarterback of the future for Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt.
Eason is locked and loaded with Georgia, as he recently signed a financial aid agreement and is on schedule to be an early enrollee for the Bulldogs.
“We’re glad he’s committed to Georgia," Richt told Kipp Adams of Dawgs247 recently. "We think he’s a fine player and a really fine person. And we’re looking forward to getting him here in January.”
Eason is the crown jewel of the Bulldogs 2016 class, and he’s played an important role in helping lure other talented prospects to join him in Athens.
With Georgia in the running for a handful of blue-chip recruits who are still uncommitted, Eason has been in communication with other top-flight prospects, such as 5-star tight end Isaac Nauta, 5-star athlete Mecole Hardman, 5-star receiver and 4-star athlete Demetris Robertson.
“[Eason is] one guy who is great with the ball in his hands,” Hardman said of Eason to Bleacher Report at The Opening. “He’s a leader on and off the field and I have the utmost respect for him. I think he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the country.”
If he keeps performing to the high level he’s exhibited through the first month of his senior season, the excitement surrounding his impending arrival in Athens is likely to grow among the Bulldogs fanbase.
