Well in the Jaguars Colts game this Sunday we did not see that same Jacksonville Jaguars that we saw last year. The Jacksonville Jaguars gave up only 14 points to the Indianapolis colts. If it wasn't for Reggie Wayne who had 10 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown.

If it wasn't for Reggie Wayne the Jaguars would have probably won the game. The Jaguars were able to stop Joseph Addai who ran for 42 yards and had 17 carries. So the Colts were unable to run the ball.

And Reggie Wayne was the only Colts wide receiver that caught for more than 40 yards. So I will say again the Jaguars did a good job of stopping the Colts offense that maybe one of the best in the NFL.

Also Jaguars defensive end Reggie Hayward is out for the season with a broken left leg. I honestly think Reggie Hayward is one of the best defensive players for the Jacksonville Jaguars. May I also add that defensive tackle Rob Meier is also already out for the season.

Along with all that the Jaguars still have problems with their receiving core. Torry Holt, the Jags number one receiver caught for only 47 yards.

Just in case you didn't notice I was just doing the cons and well now I'm doing the pros.

Pros, Maurice Jones-Drew in his first game had 21 carries, ran for 97 yards and, a touchdown. David Garrard didn't throw any interceptions. Last year David Garrard thew 13 interceptions so there maybe some improvement.

But the biggest improvement from last year to this year is the offensive line. Last year the Jaguars gave up 42 sacks and couldn't stay healthy. In week one against the Colts, the Jaguars gave up only one sack. That's some pretty big improvement.

It maybe kinda early to look at the standing but in week one the Texans and Titans lost so only the Colts are ahead of the Jaguars in the AFC South so far.

Next week the Jaguars have their home opener against the Cardinals who looked terrible against the San Francisco 49ers. So the Jaguars may get their first win of 2009 and get into the win column.
