Bayern Munich to Host Training Camps and Donate €1M for Refugees
Bayern Munich will host youth training camps for refugees as well as donate €1 million from a dedicated friendly to help tackle the current refugee crisis.
The club have released a statement explaining how, as part of the training camps, Bayern will provide German classes, meals and football equipment for the homeless refugees.
"Bayern to host training camps at the club for refugees, also offering German classes, meals and more. Beautiful. https://t.co/ifDMX1wsFY

"Bayern sees it as a social responsibility to help the refugees, needy children, women and men, to help them and to accompany them in Germany," said club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
The money raised from the dedicated friendly match will go towards various refugee projects, while Bayern's next home game against Augsburg on September 12 will see each Bayern player enter the pitch with a German child on one hand and a refugee's child on the other in order to "set an example for the integration of refugees."
