Dimitar Berbatov to PAOK FC: Latest Transfer Details, Reaction and More
Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has signed for Greek Super League giants PAOK FC on a free transfer following his release from Monaco.
The capture was announced by the club's official website on Tuesday (statement in Greek), with ESPN FC confirming the 34-year-old's move to Thessaloniki:

It was reported by ITV.com on Tuesday that Berbatov would complete a return to the Premier League with Aston Villa after arriving in Birmingham for a medical, but the transfer failed to materialise.
The Greek Super League transfer-window deadline passed on Monday, August 31, but the Daily Mail's Laurie Whitwell noted Berbatov was exempt from those restrictions as a free agent:
The Bulgarian scored 18 goals in 53 games for Monaco after signing for the club in January 2014. That move followed stints with Premier League outfits United, Spurs and Fulham, where he made a total of 304 collective appearances in the English top flight, per Transfermarkt.
PAOK finished third in the Greek Super League last season and will look to squeeze some final pieces of class out of an ageing Berbatov at what will be his seventh professional club.
