Randle's Status Improves at Friday Practice
Friday, Aug. 21
Todd Archer of ESPN reported Randle was in uniform for Friday's practice and going through rehab work on the side while Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Randle was back practicing with the first team.
Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reported Jerry Jones expects Randle to play Sunday vs. the 49ers.
Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Star-Telegram previously reported Randle as unlikely to play Sunday after suffering the setback in practice on Thursday. The third-year back, who spent the past two years playing behind DeMarco Murray, stated he just hasn't been able to shake the problem and wants to get back to full strength.
"It's the same thing I had earlier," Randle said. "It flared up on me again. We will get it right. I always want to be out there with my teammates. I can only do what I can do. It's just something we have to keep fighting through."
The Cowboys need Randle to get right before the regular season rolls around. Otherwise, the rushing attack is going to struggle.
