so another bad start to the season for arsenal, plenty of goals to start with, then a lot of controversy, then back to back losses in manchester. but in my opinion it's no were near over. 4 out of 38 games.

at the start of the season every one ruled out arsenal, then 2 wins and they were up there with the favourites, and then 2 weeks later, back down to earth. just shows you how quick it can change. but in my opinion the players have to have the right attitude. they can't let their heads drop, but more importantly they should bottle this feeling of a loss and keep it inside so that they never want to feel it again.

this is where they should get their push to win from, from loosing games, but that feeling alone is not enough, wenger should start taking some action and not sit there and watch. on saturday, it was back to good old arsenal, terrible marking, lack of a defensive midfielder, and poor finishing.

since his arrival at the club, vermalen has been hailed as a member of a solid defensive partnership with gallas. i am not so sure, even before the manchester losses, we had played 4 games and conceded 3 goals keeping one clean sheet. for me thats not going to win us the epl. now having faced decent opposition we have played 6 and conceded 9, yes not all goals have to be credited to the centre backs but they play an important part.

a lot has been said about song forming into a new great new defensive midfielder, well again against world class opposition him alone failed. i believe he can be a good player but he needs support from the other midfielders.

and then the centre forwards. well it looked like arsenal were gonna have no attacking worries this season after scoring 15 in the first 4, and now they have scored 18 in six which is an excellent record but could have been a lot more.

i am not willing to talk about refereeing as i believe the level of refereeing is just bad not biast, well not neccesarily against arsenal all the time, i dont wanna winge.

however there are some positives, we have scored so many goals, we have done that without walcott and nasri and some games fabregas and arshavin. we are getting goals from every where. gallas is our leading goalscorer. some young players are showing why wenger got them. diaby, song, and denilson, however when put together still not relieable enough. emerging players like welshere and ramsey and vela, just need to keep them when they establish themselves.

i believe we just need a defensive midfielder and a clean finisher in january due to injuries and african cup of nations, but i still think the epl is there for the taking
