Kiffin's Kapers Are Komical Against a Weak UCLA Team

For all the Volunteer fans who thought that Tennessee's slapping of a 10-loss Kentucky kindergarten team (the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers) meant the Lane Kiffin era was off to a great start, they were quickly brought back to reality when they were beaten once again by one the Pac Ten's patsies.

Last year UCLA lost eight games and generally stunk up the Pac 10. This year they beat Tennessee even worse than last year. Last year when they played, Tennessee was ranked 18th, this year they were simply rank.

Kiffin was brought in to bring his offensive genius to a struggling team. They scored less points in the game than last year under foundering Phil. At least Phil's offense put up three touchdowns to Kiffin's one.

Is this the improvement Tennessee fans expected? Right now it simply appears to be a huge step backward.

What does Fulmer think about about Kiffin? "When you come in and talk all that talk you better be able to back it up", said Fulmer this week.

Well Little Lord Kiffie apparently better now officially shut up, because it's pretty obvious to the football world that he certainly can't put up.

Many of us here in the South were simply waiting for the opportunity to laugh at Kiffin for all his false bravado and big talk. Here in the South, we've always believed you had to earn the right to trash talk and talk big.

You've now been exposed as the chihuahua chasing a Greyhound bus with a lot of barking, and we all know you wouldn't know what to do with it if you caught it.

Now you're about to get another public humiliation from your good friend Urban Meyer who runs a clean program, but you called a cheater. And Nick Saban is waiting to welcome you to that rivalry also.

Fulmer had one bad year in his career and got fired.  Kiffin's had one bad career without a good year and got hired.  Anybody in Knoxville want to start writing that apology to Phil about now?
