THE GOOD:

Aaron Brown- His only rush on the day was for a touchdown. Also he was a great weapon on the special teams. Posting up a 36 avg. per kick return with a an 87 longest. This is one of the reasons why the lions were able to get 27 points

Louis Delmas- The rookie lived up to the hype, he made big hits and some big plays. He also scored the team a defensive touchdown on a fumble. He also stuffed some runs and saved some plays from turning into disaster.

Tackling- The lions actually made a lot  of big hits and didn't miss a lot of tackles, however there coverage and there position was aw full causing them to lose so bad.

THE BAD:

Matthew Stafford: Its hard to win when you throw three interceptions, and that's exactly what Matthew Stafford did. On top of that he threw a lot of off the mark passes, making his rookie debut mediocre.

Rush Defense: Although they stuffed them in the middle a good amount of times. The lions were still poor against the run allowing Mike Bell to run 143 yards on them.

Defensive Line: Once again they came up big at times by stuffing the run. But Drew Brees had all day to throw, causing him to throw six touchdown passes. Also the defensive unit didn't even record a sack.

The Ugly:

The Offensive Line: They allowed tremendous pressure on Stafford, and could make any holes for Kevin Smith. Although Stafford was only sacked once, if he was smarter to hold on to the ball, it could have been double digit sacks. Kevin Smith only had 20 yards on the ground with 15 carries.

Pass Defense: They got beat short, middle and long. The lions could just not stop Drew Brees. He ended up throwing over 350 yards and six touchdown passes. However the lions secondary finally picked one off. But six touchdowns is just terrible.

The Attitude: The lions made to many fouls on sunday. Many of those were personal fouls, that can be prevented by just acting smart. The lions didn't do that however and showed poor sportsmanship on the field.
