France Misses Open Goal and Last Penalty Kick in Heartbreaking Loss to Germany

Thanks to goalkeeper Nadine Angerer, Germany pulled out a dramatic win over France on Friday to advance to the semifinals in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. 

The match was decided in a shootout, and French midfielder Claire Lavogez was the only player not to score. Angerer guessed right on a rather softly struck ball from Lavogez and saved the day:
