Shawne Merriman Says He Didn't Harm His Girlfriend

ESPN.com reports that former San Diego Charger's linebacker Shawne Merriman says he didn't harm his girlfriend.

Well lets see almost every person that probably has to go through something like this will say something like this. It is pretty obvious he is trying to not get caught if he did do this. I don't blame him for saying this 'cause any one would, he has the right.

"There was absolutely no wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Merriman," Macaluso Merriman's attorney said on Sunday. Well what does he mean, lets see.

"He essentially was doing what was appropriate under the circumstances in trying to protect the safety of Miss Tequila. There were numerous eyewitnesses that will support his version of the events that transpired at his home." That's what he means.

It is very clear what in the world is he doing choking, that is not protecting her. And obviously there was no one else in the house so what happened? Well maybe he did do that, but with a reason. What is the reason? No one knows so we can't say anything about that.

So it is pretty clear he is supporting himself, I wouldn't blame him like I said he is supporting himself. The other thing is the attorny gets info from his client, he got from Merriman. Of course.

Both battery and and imprisonment are felonies. Jan Caldwell said that it was determined that Tila was drinking.

There is another clue, maybe if she was drinking then she made Merriman mad so he attacked. Every couple fights once at least but not like this. But if she said something what was it? No one knows yet. This all leads to something he got mad at Tila, because she said or did something upsetting to Merriman.

Look no one attacks for nothing so he has a reason that will be explained later on when more info comes from ESPN or any other source that gets info first.

Lets hope nothing happens to get any worse.
