Roster cuts have not been the most exciting element of the season. The Seahawks did however make a significant move in cutting starting S Brian Russell and adding former Washington Husky S Lawyer Milloy who was let go by the Atlanta Falcons after helping lead their defense to the playoffs last season.

Milloy led the Atlanta secondary with 93 tackles last season, showing he can still play at a high level even at the age of 35. Offensive line has been a huge question mark with LT Walter Jones out with a shoulder injury, C Chris Spencer out five weeks, and former LG Mike Wahle retired because of injuries.

For those good at math out there that is three starters subtracted from an already suspect Offensive line.

The most prominent names cut today were Jaguars T Tony Pashos, and Chargers G Kynan Forney, both were starters for their respective teams.

Pashos has started 31 games the past two seasons and would be an upgrade over current T Ray Willis.

Signing Pashos would allow the Seahawks to slide current starting RG Max Unger to C, and plug Willis in at RG.

Something has to be done with the offensive line especially considering QB Matt Hasselbeck is coming off his worst career year, riddled with injuries, he needs to stay upright for the Seahawks to claim their fifth NFC West title in six seasons.

Some cuts have yet to be announced officially and hopefully a few more starting OL can fall to the scrap heap for the Seahawks to pluck.
