Alvaro Morata Didn't Take Champions League Medal: 'I Don't Have Silver Medals'

Alvaro Morata is having none of his second-place medal. 

The Juventus striker scored the Italian side's only goal before they ultimately fell 3-1 to Barcelona in the Champions League final but has said the loss has left a bitter taste in his mouth. 

Formerly with Real Madrid, Morata admitted he didn't exchange shirts with any Barcelona players nor will he hang up his medal for reaching the final.

These have been difficult days.

Losing a Champions League final is a big deal. Before the final, I got up in the night a few times thinking I'd already played the final, it was a dream for me, I couldn't wait. 

At the end, I didn't swap shirts with anyone. I don't want any memory of that day. I didn't even take the medal. I don't have silver medals at home. 

Credit to Barcelona though, and their Coach, we have to know how to lose, too.
