Welcome to the MMApocalypse. If UFC 102 was the comeback this is the backlash. What do you mean you may ask. Well like Thunderdome two man enter, one man leave. Some guys won there matches and re-established themselves, or at least bought some more time. Some guys it was a must win match and they couldn't pull it off.

We'll discuss the fighters the fighters that should undoubtedly exit stage left to not return, or "die" off. I won't say Dana is for a certainty going to cut these fighters but for some there is a good chance they should start looking.

Chris "The Crippler" Leben

The first fighter that comes to mind is someone who needed a win in a bad way Saturday, Chris Leben. The Crippler is certainly one of the most controversial fighters not in just UFC but professional MMA in general. His antics on TUF season one, his DUI's, his suspension for performance enhancing drugs, and maybe most importantly his record over the past few fights. Chris has put up a pretty miserable five losses in his last eight fights. Chris is definitely at the top of the list that should start looking at other organizations to fight for. I certainly feel pity for the guy and sympathize with issues like that but business is business and he's not taking care of it. Look for him to be joining the likes of other fighters moving soon. In fact, who knows he could be gone by the time I'm done writing this article.

Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine

You know, simply just off his sheer weirdness from the pre-fight Moby song to his weird sprints and nipple tweaks moments before the fight is enough to make me question his place on television. It was kind of a must win after losing three of his last five before that fight, now four losses in his last six fights. Sorry Keith but you can tweak those nips somewhere else.

Mac Danzig-

Not on the UFC 102 card but on the list of fighters who maybe facing the axe soon. He has had a pretty unfortunate record since his stint on TUF and he really needs a win in his next fight to save his ass. Even then he still may be out, Dana has cut fighters before after wins for not producing.

Wandei "The Axe Murderer" Silva-

I'm sorry, many of you may disagree with this choice. If his job is not in jeopardy it should be. His record in the UFC speaks for itself, maybe someone can enlighten me but I can't for the life of me figure out what happened and how his success in Pride couldn't translate into success in UFC. Sometimes athletes just lose it though, and I think he's lost it.

Marcus "Maximus" Aurelio-

Beware, he carries a losing record in his last 10 fights. Granted he was coming off a two win streak prior but his record in the UFC is not great. He might not be in line to get axed but if he doesn't start putting up a few more W's he could be.

That's all I'm going to say about him. Come on. Retire with some dignity man, your still a legend but no shame in stepping down at 46. You're a pimp Randy.

Look for these big names minus Randy to possibly be getting axed, handed a pink slip, let go, fired, canned, what other cliche phrases am I missing for fired? BE WARNED- THE MMApocalypse is at hand!
