After Arsenal emphatic winning run came to a halt by Premiers Manchester United. Arsenel legend Ian Wright believes that the Gunners suffer to much from the school yard problem, Bullying. The former Arsenal frontman believes the best way to defeat Arsenal is by bullying them. He also thinks Arsenal need some one who stands up to the bullying, bullies back, and is over 21 years old.

Gennaro Gattuso.

Wright believes Arsenal must sign the AC Milan and Italian hard man if they are to succeed in the Premier League. So should Wenger make a last gasp effort for the Italian?

Many believe that Arsenal lacks physicality in the midfield and Gattuso would certainly fix that problem. The AC Milan midfielder is a tough, no nonsense, hard-working playmaker, who can not only pass, create space and set up goals, but destroy even the best of attacks with his tough as nail legs.

Due to the departure of Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure to Manchester City for 40 million, Arsene Wenger does have a little to spend. Plus with the transfer window closing in a matter of days, Wenger would have to act fast if he is to offer the Italian giants a deal.

Hopefully, Gattuso would cost just under 10 million but that could be mistaken. However Alexandre Song is capable of becoming the next Gattuso. The Cameroonian youngster has been impressive so far this season with his hard-tackling midfielding working well for Arsenal.

There is also the option of AS Saint-Étienne's midfielder Blaise Matuidi. The 22-year-old midfielder is on Wenger's shopping list despite Wenger's disapproval with the amount the French side want for their midfielder. The Frenchman has a massive future and could become an even better Gattuso.

Despite Gattuso's age of 32, he may be a good option for the North London side, or should Wenger concentrate on buying some one else, Rafael Van Der Vaart perhaps?
