UFC 106 is starting to look amazing. We have a heavyweight championship match up of Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin. It has been officially announced as the return fight of Tito Ortiz will be fighting hall of famer Mark Coleman.

Ortiz is looking for his first win since a 2006 TKO victory over Ken Shamrock. He has lost to Chuck Liddell, Lyoto Machida, and a draw with Rashad Evans. Ortiz has been out of action due to back surgery.

Coleman is coming off of a win against Stephan Bonnar. Coleman says his training is his best in years.

The fight would be amazing to see from both points of view.

Ortiz needs to come out strong and do excellent in his comeback fight, so he can show he's still got it. Coleman doesn't need to prove much, at his mid-forties he is still winning, and a win over Ortiz wouldn't be a bad thing for his situation.

The thing with this fight is that both of these fighters are great at ground and pound. Ortiz has won many of his fights due to a takedown, and either punches, elbows, or forearms. Coleman has ended a few of his fights the same to my knowledge.

So this is going to be one big wrestling event with some ground and pound as well because as I said earlier Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin will meet that same night.

The reason the Carwin and Velasquez fight isn't happening anymore is because the UFC thought that Fedor would be signing with them. We all know that that didn't happen though. So they needed an opponent for Lesnar that they cast aside and signed new fights all around.

This is also going to be good. Similar to the Ortiz fight, these fighters' skills are almost matched. They both have wrestling backgrounds and both know how to finish a fight. The only advantage I would give these fighters would be Lesnar's size and Carwin's experience.

Well, I wish luck to all these fighters looking to further career. Thanks for the reads guys.
