WWE Monday Night Raw emanates tonight from Las Vegas, Nevada with special guest host, and world famous undefeated boxer, Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Mayweather’s boxing career spans from 1996 to 2007 and touts 39 wins: 25 by knockout and 14 by decision. As such, Mayweather makes many lists that feature the top boxers of all time.

Although Mayweather hasn’t had a professional boxing match since 2007, he’s been actively training for his boxing return against Juan Manuel Márquez on September 19, 2009.

Mayweather made his first guest appearance with the WWE in Las Vegas in February 2008 at the No Way Out Pay Per View where he saved fan favorite Rey Mysterio from a chokeslam and punched Big Show in his nose. As a result, Big Show suffered a broken nose which was not part of the storyline.

Mayweather entered in a feud with Big Show which culminated in a highly promoted no disqualification match at WrestleMania XXIV. Mayweather defeated the Big Show, notably turning on the fans during the contest, using brass knuckles to secure the victory.

Tonight’s August 24, 2009 edition of Monday Night Raw will mark the first time wrestling fans have seen Floyd Mayweather in the WWE since WrestleMania XXIV. Many have been speculating about the reception that Mayweather will receive, and whether or not he will have any interaction with his former opponent and current Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show.

One can only expect that Mayweather will have some words for Márquez as he gears up for his fight on September 19, and perhaps he will also be looking to send a message through Big Show.

To find out what Mayweather and the WWE have in store, tune in to tonight’s Raw at 9p.m. EST on the USA Network.
