Phillies-Blue Jays: Werth Explodes; Moyer Shuts Down Jays Bats

PHILADELPHIA—Jayson Werth, playing in his fourth consecutive game, had an absolute offensive explosion last night. He sent three balls into the seats: one for a solo shot, one for a grand slam, and one for a three-run shot.

This amazing achievement overshadowed another quality start from the Phillies' 45-year-old lefty Jamie Moyer.  Moyer surrendered just three runs in 6 2/3 innings.  The Phillies will look for another great start today when Adam Eaton takes the hill.
