Usain Bolt Says He'll Retire After 2017 World Championships
Usain Bolt, 28, is planning to step away from the track after the 2017 World Championships in London. He states the decision is not final, however, because he's focused on protecting his legacy as one of the greatest athletes ever.
Matt Lawton of the Daily Mail reports Bolt chose Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan and Michael Johnson as the three legends he admires most. The Jamaican says eventually being listed among that group would be a dream come true.
"That would be great," he said. "That would be awesome. That's what I work for. Over the years I have said I want to become a legend. I want to be remembered as one of the greatest sportsmen ever."

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation
In 2013, Bolt said he planned to hang up his running shoes after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, as noted by CNN.
A six-time Olympic gold medallist, he is already one of the most accomplished runners in history. Bolt won gold in the 100 meters, 200 meters and as part of the 4x100-meter team relay at each of the last two Olympics (Beijing and London). He also owns eight gold medals from the World Championships, as well as a pair of silvers.
His performances on the world stage have become must-see events. He's a showman who routinely delivers when the lights shine brightest.
