Should Dale Earnhardt Jr. Take a Year Off and Race Sports Cars?

I think this would be a good move for him , it would give him a chance to just have some fun for a year without any pressure.

No need to live up to a name in that series, he can just drive and get his head back together.

That’s all that’s wrong with this guy, he is just not having fun.

I would bet there is something going on with this apparently dreamy relationship with Hendrick Motosports.

There is something happening here we just don’t know about.

I have thought about this long and hard, and that is the only explanation I can come up with.

In NASCAR an average driver in a good team, with good cars will be a success, this is not rocket science, this is just driving a race car.

If you get approved to drive in NASCAR , you are probably very capable of doing a good job, the rest of your success is just having the right team with good equipment. Agree?

So here is an above average driver, with the best NASCAR has to offer, and he still not doing well, there is just no reason for this.

The rest of the Hendrick teams, including the associate team of Steward-Hass, are running up front, N0. 88 is the only one not doing well.

Is Dale Earnhardt Jr. the only one at fault here, is he a has been as a race car driver?

I don’t buy it! That dog won’t hunt in my brain folks!

I just don’t believe Dale Earnhardt Jr. is not at least a top 12 driver in NASCAR.

Someone in the main stream media with some access to those folks, needs to dig in and see if there is a story here.

This is just my opinion, just guessing, there is something going on behind closed doors, heads are butting in the Hendrick, JR relationship.

I don’t usually say I told you so, but if what I’m saying proves to be true, I will yell, “I told you so” loud and clear.

Don’t forget who told you! Just a little bravado there, in the asifyouknow style of story telling.

By the way, I’m not a Jr. fan,I like the guy but I don’t have hats or t-shirts with N0. 88 on it, so, for the Jr. haters who may read this, I’m not championing anyone’s cause!

Jr. needs to take a year off and comeback with is own team in 2011, just a thought.
