Kitten Bowl 2015: Date, TV Schedule, Starting Lineup and More
The biggest sporting event on Planet Earth is back Sunday. No, not the Super Bowl; we're talking about the second annual Kitten Bowl, people.
Feline Football League (FFL) Commissioner Boomer Esiason will preside over the event, which will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. If you don't get that channel, you can stream the event online.
Four of the best-assembled teams in feline sports will be in action. The North Pole Panthers, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Mountain Lions, Hallmark Channel Hearties and Good Witch Wildcats will be in competition for our hearts in this fuzz-filled, action-packed event.

Preview
Beth Stern will host, and John Sterling will provide play-by-play for the event. This will be their second time at the helm of the broadcast.
This probably isn't the event for you if you're looking to watch some of the cutest kittens ever play football. Sure, there are miniature footballs available for the young cats to play with, but there will likely be more paw-licking and string-smacking then anything else.
That's the point, though, if you ask the Kitten Bowl's official website: "The teams will consist of the cutest, agile and, most importantly, adoptable kittens. The kittens will be joined by celebrities and personalities from all facets of the entertainment world as the kittens compete on obstacle courses filled with lures such as yarn balls, lasers, and toys on string."
A direct response to the Puppy Bowl, the Kitten Bowl is perfect for the cat-lover in you. It's for a great cause, as all 72 cats have found new, loving homes.
That's three hours of heart-melting fun.
Prediction
This is a contest harder to predict than the Super Bowl. The competition is as fierce as it is adorable.
The Panthers, led by Aaron Pawdgers, should have no problems moving the ball. The Hearties counter with Richard Purrman, however, and his ball-hawking ways will cause Pawdgers to be creative.
Mountain Lions stud Jadeveon Clawny is equally as menacing as Purrman. He plays with confidence and the drive to represent Salt Lake Kitty (yes, that's where he's from).
But perhaps the most lethal weapon in this contest plays for the Wildcats. Clawvin Johnson—a.k.a Meowcatron—will definitely run, jump and swat his way into our hearts.
If you're a bettor, then roll with Meowcatron.
