Wizards to Give Out 'Beefy' Marcin Gortat Action Figure
If you do not have a cape or a sleeve of Pringles in your possession, you cannot recreate Marcin Gortatโs action figure.
The Washington Wizards will honor their Polish center by giving out promotional figurines to the first 19,000 fans to arrive at their January 31 home game against the Toronto Raptors.ย
The team debuted the Gortat action figure Thursday via Vine. He is presented in his natural state: strong and bushy-browed, cape fluttering softly in the wind.ย
Gortat discussed the figure in a recent interview with The Washington Postโs Isabelle Khurshudyan. He said the figure looks a bit "beefy," and that he would likeย teammate Nene Hilario to be his invisible superhero partner.
And don't worry about the midsection. That's just a belt, according to Gortat.
Khurshudyan tried to get John Wallโs opinion on Super Gortat, but heโs all stocked up on that kind of crazy.
One can only assume Wall is either intimidated by this masculine obelisk of Polish dominance or jealous of its supreme beefiness. I don't really blame him. It cuts quite the figure.
