Sunday, Dec. 21
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano announced Monday that tight end Dwayne Allen underwent an MRI for a knee injury suffered in Sunday's Week 16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin reported the news:
Allen is arguably a more talented all-around player than his teammate, Coby Fleener, but he has struggled to stay in the lineup, needing season-ending hip surgery after just one game last year.
When he's been on the gridiron in 2014, Allen has been a dynamic, sure-handed threat in the scoring zone, catching eight touchdowns among his 29 receptions.
