Wow has a lot changed for me in the past few months.  For the longest time i have been a HUGE Fedor Emelianenko fan and have considered hi the top pound for pound fighter in the world.  it truly frustrates me that he lets M-1 run his career the way he does.  Dana White was ready to give him everything that he would need.  the only thing he was unwilling to do was co-promote with M-1, and why should he?

Fedor has not fought anyone of note in a while... i am NOT trying to say Fedor isn't great, however i do feel that the top heavyweights in the world are in the UFC.  He needs to go there.  Signing with Strikeforce is a joke! who is he going to fight? Brett Rogers? Fabricio Werdum? Alistair Overeem?

Brett Rogers is very impressive thus far but who has he beaten? a washed up Andrei Arlovsk? When Fedor takes him to the ground its game over!

Fabrico Werdum has some nice wins in Overeem, Gabriel Gonzaga (twice) and Brandon Vera... keep in mind though that Arlovski beat him by unanimous decision.... NEXT

Now for Alistair Overeem... he has lost to Antonio Nogueira TWICE, who Fedor has beaten TWICE! does this really seem like a quality opponent?

what will be learned from Fedor's stint with strikeforce? NOTHING we will still have his lovers, we will till have his doubters... he needs to fight in the UFC, he NEEDS to fight Brock Lesnar

a week ago Fedor was my top pound for pound fighter... today, in my eyes he has fallen behind Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre and Lyoto Machida (who is VERY steadily moving up my list)
