Pat White Signs Four-Year Deal with Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins signed their final two draft picks on the eve of training camp today, signing second-rounder Pat White and fifth-rounder Chris Clemons to four-year contracts.

Per Profootballtalk, White's contract is worth around $4.5 million and includes $2.4 million in guaranteed money. Clemons' contract almost assuredly contains base salaries as the rest of Miami's draft picks. (See the player contracts file above for more info.)

Getting into camp on time will certainly be beneficial to both players. Although White doesn't have any competition and is basically entrenched as the team's third quarterback, he will likely be utilized to some extent in the team's Wildcat formation and thus could certainly use all the practice time he can get.

Meanwhile, Clemons is no lock to make the team as a fifth-round pick and will spend his first NFL training camp trying to prove his worth on special teams and fend off former Bengal Ethan Kilmer.
