Sometimes It Really Hurts To Be a John Daly Fan

Every PGA Tour event I route for John Daly.

I love the guy. How could you not?

He has been on the tour forever,

he parties like a rock star,

he doesn't give a damn about stupid traditions.

John Daly plays his game his way and if you don't like it go watch someone else.

He smokes on the course and he curses. He has written two best selling books on how he plays golf and doesn't give a damn.

He is an anti-establishment hero, a rebel in a sea of polo shirts.

But lately something has changed about Daly.

His playing has corroded to an unmanageable level.

The two-time major winner, Daly posted a +22 after round two of the Buick this weekend.

He is packed and on his way home as we speak.

Not to mention his attire during the dismal performance.

He looked more like Elton John Daly or a woman named Pat that you would meet in P-Town.

C'mon John!

You are becoming a caricature of yourself, the laughing stock of the tour.

You have the skills and the know-how.

Pull in those reigns and get it together.

You do have fans you know, whether you want them or not.
