Jose Castillo went four for four, with three runs, a double, and an RBI. Alfonso Soriano went four for five, with two runs, a double, and an RBI. Dan Uggla went two for four, with a run, a grand slam, and five RBI. Carlos Beltran went two for five. with a run, a triple, and five RBI.

Ryan Freel, Carlos Delgado, Brendan Ryan, Ryan Braun, Omar Vizquel, Randy Wynn, Aaron Rowand, Omar Infante, Jason Michaels, Kevin Millar (three RBI), Jed Lowrie, Mike Lamb, Akinori Iwamura, Scott Hatteberg, Josh Hamilton, and Carlos Quentin (three RBI) each had three hits. David Wrtight and Cody Ross each scored three runs. Victor Martinez, Milton Bradley, Adrian Gonzalez, Brian Anderson, Adrian Beltre, and Ronny Paulino each had three RBI.
Greg Maddux gave up one unearned run on three hits in six innings for his 350th career win. Andrew Miller threw seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits while striking out seven to improve to 3-2. Aaron Laffey fired seven scoreless innings for his first win of the year.
Tim Lincecum allowed two runs on four hits in eight innings, with eights Ks, to improve to 5-1 with a 1.61 ERA. Darrell Rasner gave up two runs in six innings to improve to 2-0. Joel Pineiro gave up two runs in six-and-one-third innings, as he got a no-decision. Ben Sheets gave up three runs in seven innings, with six Ks to become Milwaukeeโs all-time strikeout leader.
Max Scherzer gave up one unearned run in six innings with six Ks in a no-decision. Ryan Dempster gave up two runs in six innings with seven Ks for a no-decision. Tom Gorzelanny went seven-and-one-third innings, allowing two runs to improve to 3-3.
Daisuke Matsuzaka gave up two runs in seven innings, with seven Ks to improve to 6-0 with a 2.45 ERA. Scott Kazmir (six scoreless innings, six Ks) outdueled Joe Saunders (six innings, one run). Bronson Arroyo went eight innings, allowing one run on four hits, with nine Ks for his second win.
Mike Pelfrey gave up two runs in six innings, but took the loss. Ubaldo Jimenez gave up three runs in six innings for a loss, but he struck out 11 in the process. Chris Sampson had seven scoreless, three-hit innings to improve to 2-3.
