The Orlando magic suck period. The only reason they were able to achieved success in the 2009 season and playoffs was due to thier unique match up advantage's. the "Micheal Jordan of turkey""Mr forth quarter" 6'10 Hedo Turkoglu and 6'10 Rashard Lewis. and Dwight Howard

The formula for success for the Orlando magic was simple surrounded the big guy with shooters lots of him bring them from the D-league your high school team anyone who has stroke could fit in.And with the nightmare match up that Hero and Lewis brought with him many considered the magic team to be near-perfect

how wrong they were. What i noticed while watching the celtics-magic series was the considerably long droughts that the magic went through when thier three's did not fall and how they

sometimes completely forget that thier best player howard was in the game I admit its nice when the magic throw dagger three after dagger three and they fall in its a beauty to watch but when they don't and you know what they say its a make or miss league (case in point magic lakers finals) and when they miss and game over

i'll summarizes this in 3 reasons why the magic will never reach

the nba finals again or if thier lucky in 15 years

1.terrible head coach Stan van gundy needs to call his brother and ask for some coaching lessons seriously his coaching in the nba finals was the worst i have ever seen putting in jameer nelson someone who has not played in 4 months and benching the contestant rafer alston not only did that hurt the team chemistry but it also hurt the whole team as they were not familiar with jamar style of play and Stans constant yelling and going nuts on the sidelines when his team is not doing well does not help

2. rashard lewis is overated. he is a soft post up/jump shooter player who does not like to play hard nosed physical basketball put him up against bruce bown or ron artest and he is finished. while lewis is a talented shooter and is a valuable role player to most teams paying 75 million to be a role player is a little much in my opinion.

3.jump shooting teams never win.
