I respect all my fellow Braves writers and i am a big fan but i'm so tired of hearin' trade options for the braves like "adding another bat in the outfield or at first" can we just let this team be as it is. If we were to trade for a veteran arm like Halladay or a veteran bat like Jermaine Dye, we don't need neither of these options i like the lineup just the way it is.

In this article i will break down want i've been reading for months now and why I think we should Keep most of the players we got.

Casey Kotchman

I've been reading alot on adding some pop to first base, can anyone tell me what's wrong with what we got already, I mean Kotchman may not give us 20 home runs but he can hit and i'm not going to mention the defense he gives us each game.

We as braves fans know that he is not going to be here for several years because of Freddie Freeman, but all we can do is appreciate what he brings to this ball club which is flawless defense and a tough out at the plate, so i think we should keep him until Freeman is ready to play everyday.

Outfield Pop

Again i like the outfield we have at the moment, it's a solid outfield and I really love the Platoon in Right with Church and Diaz, because together the both of them are a big improvement than what we had in that head case Francoeur, so i vote keep it intact until Jason Heyward is ready.

Overall i think we all want to see the braves do good but by different ways, you guys have to think about it if we trade away some good prospects for Halladay then we will get a Mark Teixeira deal all over again, and besides we are trying save money so we can keep the guys we have like Prado and Escobar.

But i think the braves should work on that bullpen, but i'll leave that for another time.
