The top five remained unchanged this week, as they all took care of business.

Miami remained perfect in the weekend series after taking two-of-three from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. North Carolina took two games from Virginia, Arizona State won their two games against Loyola Marymount, and Florida State swept Savannah State.

Nebraska was most impressive over the weekend, winning two-of-three from No. 9 Texas A&M.

Rice moved up one spot to No. 6 after winning a mid-week game against No. 10 Oklahoma State.

Georgia moved up four spots to No. 7 after claiming the SEC title with a series win over then-No. 18 Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Georgia finishes the season against Alabama before heading to the SEC Tournament as the No. 1 seed.

Cal State Fullerton jumped four spots to No. 8 with a weekend series win over Cal Poly.

Texas A&M remained at No. 9, while Oklahoma State remained at No. 10 after winning their weekend series against Texas Tech.

San Diego dropped three spots after losing their weekend series at San Francisco.  UC Irvine moved up one spot to No. 12 with a series win over Pacific.

Cal moved ahead three spots with a series win over then-No. 6 Stanford, while Stanford dropped eight spots to No. 14.

Missouri remained in the No. 15 slot after taking its series at Kansas.

LSU continues to climb in the rankings, moving up six spots to No. 16 after a third consecutive sweep of an SEC opponent. The Tigers won their 12th straight game on Sunday, and have won their last nine SEC games.

It also marked the final regular-season game for the Tigers in Alex Box Stadium.  The Tigers will be moving to the “New” Alex Box at the beginning of next season, but it appears the stadium will get to host one more series, an NCAA Regional, before officially closing the gates once-and-for-all.

Michigan moved up three spots to No. 17 after a three-game sweep at Minnesota.  St. John’s also moved up three spots to No. 18 after a series win over South Florida.

Vanderbilt and North Carolina State both dropped one spot to No. 19 and No. 20, respectively.
