Juventus vs. Olympiakos: Goals, Highlights from the Champions League Match

Ryan BaileyNov 4, 2014

There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes and beautiful Andrea Pirlo free-kicks.

In the 21st minute of Juventus' Champions League tie with Olympiakos, the Italian maestro curled one of his trademark dead balls into the back of the net.

It was the perfect way for the bearded midfielder to mark his 100th Champions League game.

This is the 35-year-old's second free-kick goal in four days, as he opened the scoring against Empoli at the weekend by placing the ball in a similar position.

However, the Old Lady's celebrations only lasted three minutes, as Alberto Botia headed the Greek visitors back into the game.

In the 61st minute, Juve then went 2-1 down when Delvin Ndinga headed home from yet a set piece. Clearly, this Allegri side has trouble dealing with dead ball situations.

Three minutes later, honours were even once again when Olympiakos goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez turned an attempted header in off his own post.

Less than a minute after this blunder, the Turin side made it 3-2 when Paul Pogba drove a low show into the bottom right corner.

Juve frayed their fans' collective nerves for 90 minutes, but ultimately emerged with three points that will keep them in contention in Group A.
