Night Of Champions Recap

A short recap for NOC

Finally night of champions,  Chris jericho's secret partner out and Jeff hardy finally standing high.

MICKIE JAMES def MARYSE

Mickie James finally defeating Maryse to become new Divas Champion and the second woman to have held both titles; Women's and Divas title.

Michelle McCool def MELINA

As expected from many of us, Michelle retained her title that she had recently won, her reign now continues as the Women's champion.

REY MYSTERIO def DOLPH ZIGGLER

This match didnt actually steal the show but was good on the overall, Rey mysterio retained, many had already guessed Rey would win, perhaps it built momentum to a longer feud between them.

KOFI KINSGTON def JACK SWAGGER, MVP, CARLITO, PRIMO, MIZ

The big match weighed lighter as Big show was replaced by Primo who showed hatred towards his brother, In the end Kofi pinned Primo and won what I call a big one since he defended the title in high-risked matches since winning the title.

BIG SHOW is CHRIS JERICHO's partner and TEAM Y2J def TEAM LEGACY

After revealing Y2J's partner as BIg Show to what some people may have found shocking the two of them defeated the legacy to win the tag titles.  Some people might have been deceived by not seeing Chris masters or captain charisma as Y2J's partner.  This could lead to a Y2J betrayal to the Show and am glad Big show finally got a title.

CHRISTIAN def TOMMY DREAMER

Captain charisma won the ECW title at the expense of good old Tommy Dreamer which means Christian is going to hold on in ECW for a longer time and have feud with the gold standard or Kozlov, we will find out on ECW.

ORTON def HHH and CENA

Randy Orton retained the WWE title and it seems like the WWE's hot potatoes era with the WWE title ended.  Legacy intervened but it seems that the HHH and Orton feud will finally end in a next match.

JEFF HARDY def CM PUNK

Hardy finally won and left the Pay-per-view as world heavyweight champion after what I will say was the best match o the night.  CM punk had another short-lived reign but this might rise the suspicions that Hardy will perhaps leave WWE after dropping the title.  I am glad to see Hardy champion after being so many times A1 contenders, but still to watch how many more world heavyweight champions we will have till the end of the year as we already had six this year and Hardy is the seventh.

So three title changes and two women's championship defended, I would rather say not a bad one!
