UK Back Pages: Balotelli Could Be Sold in January

He only joined this summer, but Liverpool are already running out of patience with Mario Balotelli, according to Friday's papers. 

The Italian striker has scored just one goal since joining from AC Milan for £16 million, which, as Metro points out, does not compare favourably to the amount of haircuts he's had.

Now over 24 hours on from his ill-advised shirt swap with Pepe at half-time of the Champions League clash with Real Madrid, Balotelli is still making the back pages, and it doesn't make for good reading for him.

With so many papers reporting the same thing, it looks like Liverpool are possibly considering selling Balotelli.

Whether they can find a buyer is another matter entirely.
