Now i am one to admit that this Special Guest host of Raw has been working since it was established by then Raw "Owner" Donald Trump, but last week it not only did Raw hit a roadblock it crash into a brick wall with ZZ Top as Host.
Now i know they are old men and they couldn't give us as good as a performance that Batista, Million Dollar Man, and yes even our favorite little "hobbit" Seth Green, but c'mon are you serious, the backstage promos were just horrible and i didn't believe them to be authority figures.
I also didn't believe them to be playing the guitar when they randomly broke into song at the end of every segment, hell, not even Jericho's excellent promo skills saved them.
Luckily for me, I recorded it on my DVR so I quickly hit Fast Forward anytime they showed up on the show. Now I know my boy Shaq, and Ari Gold himself, Jeremy Piven are going to do a great job on Raw because of their great personalities and because, unlike ZZ Top, they have the voice to host Raw.
Now if Vince wants to draw huge ratings with this little gimmick he has going, then a certain man has to come in and electrify the crowd for at least one night. That's right I am saying that Vince needs to bring in the Jabroni Beating, pie eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raisin Peoples Champ, THE ROCK!
Yes folks, the Rock has to be the guest host at least one time before the guest host gimmick get stale. Imagine all the Attitude era fans that would come back to watch the rocks one night only event???
Yes i know he came back at the HOF last year but seriously, we only got like a 10 minute roast of every WWE superstar the Rock has feuded with, to me that's not enough!
Imagine The Rock back one night only on Raw. the crowd would be fired up all night and the backstage promos will be gold (Imagine a promo from Santino and The Rock...comic gold).
And not only that we might see the Great one back in the squared circle one last time. I would love that because I'm sure no one wants the Rocks last match to be a forgettable loss to Evolution at Wrestlemania.
Not only that but we might even see a John Cena vs. The Rock main event, now that would draw huuuuuggggeeee ratings for Vinnie Mac.
Its unlikely that this will happen, but we all know if it did, for one night at least, Raw would be the most watched show on TV that week. Thanks for reading guys, hope you enjoyed Reading this as much as I liked writing it.
