This year we had a boring main event at WrestleMania, which ended badly. I think many would have preferred HBK against Undertaker in the main event.
This year, however, Chris Jericho can save us. After his return, he had two short-lived Heavyweight Title reigns.
I say, WWE, give him the title at Royal Rumble 2010. Then Jeff Hardy wins the Royal Rumble match, and this would be better as the past two Royal Rumble winners were from RAW. Then Hardy announces to Jericho, after No Way Out, that he will face him at WrestleMania 26.
Jericho starts his hypocrital hypothesis of Jeff Hardy on Friday nights and says that Hardy has never won at WrestleMania and he never will. We will have a lot more exciting editions of Smackdown!, which is really doing great right now.
At WrestleMania we might come up with two possibilities.
- If Jeff Hardy wins, as we know fans are dying to see him hold the title, it will be his first win at WrestleMania. He will shut Jericho up, which all fans want to see. Also, this would be great as the two past Rumble winners did not win their matches at WrestleMania.
- Jericho wins, the bragging continues, and Jericho gets to say how Hardy is a hypocrite as he did not give all he had to beat him WrestleMania. He disappointed his fans. Hardy then shuts him up for good in a Ladder Match at Backlash.
Now you ask, where is CM Punk? Well, if Undertaker returns as the Bad Ass or Big Evil, CM Punk can form a great tag team with him. Then, at Royal Rumble, CM Punk could betray him, destroying him after a tag team match, and claim that he is better than Big Evil and Undertaker will never return. Big Evil could play mind games with CM Punk on Friday nights and return as the Deadman at WrestleMania to extend his streak to 18-0.
CM Punk could have a match for the World Title against Jericho at No Way Out after the disappearance of Big Evil.
Edge can return and use his "Ultimate Opportunist" faculty to capture the Intercontinental Title. I know he is a main-eventer, but since they gave Rey the title, why not Edge?
Rey and Edge could have a short-lived feud, then Edge holds the title and beats John Morrison in some good matches, proclaiming that the Friday Night Delight will not have the class to beat him.
Then at WrestleMania 26, John Morrison can challenge him for the title and it could be an Iron Man Match, where Morrison wins, similar to how HBK did against Bret Hart.
