Loney said, "I'm really looking forward to hosting this event after seeing how cool it was last year. The kids at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles fight difficult battles every day and the Dodgers Dream Foundation does great work, so I'm happy to help in any way I can."

Registration will begin at 6:00 PM and the bowling will commence at 7:00. The awards ceremony will take place at 10:00 and the event is scheduled to end at 10:30.

DODGERLIFE, a year-round series of programs and events where fans can personalize their Dodgers experience to match their lifestyle, will host its inaugural Fishing Adventure on Thursday July 23.

Dodger pitchers Brent Leach and James McDonald, along with sport fishing TV personality Dan Hernandez will host the trip, which will depart from the Long Beach Pier at 10:00 AM.

This isn't Leach's first fishing excursion this year, having hosted the Dodgers Dream Foundation and DodgersWIN (Women's Initatives Network) fishing trip earlier this season.

Leach commented, "I had such a great time with the kids on the first fishing trip that I wanted to share the experience with another group of Dodger fans. I hope to make this trip memorable for everyone."

The Fishing Adventure, which includes a four hour excursion on the 76-foot fishing charter "Native Sun" and a chance to fish with Leach and McDonald, instruction by Hernandez, and complimentary lunch, costs $200.  An upgrade of $35 will give participants a fishing license, fishing rod rental and a tackle pack.

The excursion will leave out of Long Beach Berth 55. For tickets, click on this link to the DODGERLIFE page at the Dodger's web site.
