From a 15-67 record two years ago, the Miami Heat could already be seeing a championship again in its future within the next few weeks.

With Dwyane Wade demanding Pat Riley make an offseason move that could benefit the team and take the load off Wade's back, the Heat might not have found not one answer, but two.

With Lamar Odom eyeing a return to the Heat after the LA Lakers took their offer off the table, a possible trade is in the works between the Heat and the Utah Jazz that would send All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer to Miami.

Odom has already expressed his feelings about where he would like to go to if the Lakers do not attempt to bring him back.

The Heat and Dallas Mavericks were both front runners for the swingman, but sources close to Odom have said that he would only leave Los Angeles for the Heat. The Heat have already sent an offer of five years and $34 million at the mid-level exception and are now waiting on Odom's word on the deal.

Boozer heading to Miami has been discussed for the past few months and now could be a reality if a three-way trade involving the Heat, Jazz, and Memphis Grizzlies goes through according to plan.

The deal would send Heat forward Udonis Haslem to the Jazz and guard/forward Dorell Wright to the Grizzlies, with Boozer heading to Miami. Boozer has said before that he would embrace a chance to be on the Heat, considering it is also where he resides at the moment.

Wade has ties with both Odom and Boozer. In Wade's 2004 rookie season, Odom played his only season for Miami, where he averaged 17 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game.

The combination of Wade and Odom led the Heat to the second round of the playoffs, where it fell in six games to the No. 1 seed Indiana Pacers. Wade and Boozer have played together on two Olympic teams and won the bronze and gold medals.

With a starting lineup of Mario Chalmers at point guard, Dwyane Wade at shooting guard, Lamar Odom at small forward, Carlos Boozer at power forward, and Jermaine O'Neal at center, with Michael Beasley, Daequan Cook, Jamario Moon, and James Jones off the bench, the Heat could immediately find itself as a contender with Boston, Cleveland, and Orlando.
