NASCAR at Richmond 2014: Live Results and Analysis from Federated Auto Parts 400
Brad Keselowski dominates the Federated Auto Parts 400!
From the start of the race Keselowski was able to stay out in front, and by Lap 250, he only fell to second place for 17 laps of the race.
He even set a new personal best record of laps led at a race by leading 234 laps by Lap 252.
Cautions were scarce at Richmond, with only three coming out by Lap 275, and the first caution came out at Lap 50 because of rain from earlier in the day which washed away rubber and reset the grip on the track.
While Keselowski was already locked into the Chase and didn't need to win at Richmond to get in, the 2 team was looking to be the top group heading into the Chase.
Other drivers though, needed to win to see the postseason.
One of those drivers was Clint Bowyer, who was up to second place at one point in the race.
Greg Biffle was the driver sitting on the Chase bubble and couldn't get around the track like he wanted. He struggled with his car for most of the night and the 16 team didn't look like a group that was desperate to make the Chase as their driver was lapped.
Keselowski continued to lead the race, even after a strange caution was needed because of a fan trying to climb the crash fence.

The 2 car was perfect on restarts and the fastest car on the track throughout the night. He led 383 of the 400 laps at Richmond, and will start the Chase with the most wins of any other driver in the regular season this year.
Richmond was the final race of the season and now the Chase grid is complete with Greg Biffle and Ryan Newman filling the last two spots.
After the dominant performance at Richmond though, the 2 team has emerged as the top contender for the Sprint Cup title.
