Living on the Edge: What's Next?

Edge is one of the most decorated veterans and colorful characters we have ever seen in the WWE.

The man has done it all. Countless Tag Team titles, World Titles, you name it the man has done it. He is a 5x, 5x, 5x Triple Crown Winner. (sorry, I still love the Booker man)

We've seen him grow tremendously throughout the years. He was a part of one of the best Tag Teams in Edge and Christian, and one of the most dominant alliances in Rated RKO.

Then he teamed with Chris Jericho and won the Unified Tag Team Titles. This tag team would have been completely dominant in my opinion but has been stopped short due to a serious injury.

As everyone knows, he suffered a torn Achilles tendon in a match with Jeff Hardy. This really saddens me because of many reasons.

I am a fellow Edgehead, and would love to see him excel as a top Babyface. It's been so long for The Rated R Superstar to actually be liked.

We the fans have been turning him slowly into a face though over the past couple of weeks, but then we cut that out when we realized he teamed with Jericho.

I have nothing against Jericho, but I think Edge is actually out of his league, now you can trash me all you want for that comment but I believe it's the truth.

Edge has done so much for the company, and has had many classic matches with Undertaker, Mick Foley, John Cena, and so on.

But this injury is a major setback for Edge. He was at the top of his game, and no can tell me that the whole Psycho husband thing with Vickie wasn't funny. Anyway, I believe that if Edge can push back after this setback he will be even better.

They say he will be out for up to six months and maybe a little more, I hope he could be back in time for the Royal Rumble and win. Or at least beat the hell out of Jericho when he gets back for trash talking him.

And then again I would really like to see Edge & Christian back together but, Edge is far better as a singles competitor and he's proven it with nine World titles.

So yes it will be a long road for The Rated R Superstar, and as an Edgehead, I cannot wait until he comes back and rules WWE once again, you can take that to the bank.
