Manchester City FC are set to unveil the signing of Carlos Tevez at 2pm GMT live.

Meanwhile, here are some possible transfer predictions:

John Terry     (Doubtful)

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has stated John Terry is not for sale at any price, Ancelotti says John Terry is and will continue to be the heart of Chelsea while John Terry himself has been reluctant to make any public speech.

Joleon Lescott    (Doubtful, very slim chance)

Everton rejected the first bid and then rejected the second bid, Everton have no need to sell any players and as it stands Everton are only in the window for young fullback Kyle Naughton so are not in a position of replacing any outgoing defenders.

City have not made a third bid though a third bid has been mentioned by the media and it is understood Everton will reject another bid for Lescott.

Lucio    (50/50)

FC Bayern Munich have stated they are open to the right offer which makes Lucio available, City have apparently registered their interest with Bayern Munich. Though aged 31 Lucio still has a lot to give, still good and ready for at least another three years minimum.

Bruno Alves    (50/50)

FC Porto's 27-year-old Portugese centreback also available at the right price, another defender that City are tracking.

Lucas Neill     (surprise target / Free Agent)

After walking away from West Ham Lucas became a free agent, if all fails with bringing in any of the above then I predict Hughes has this card up his sleeve.
