It seems like the hunt for Iverson has taken a new dive.

The Los Angeles Clippers are seriously considering in bringing in ten-time all star and former MVP, Allen Iverson. They are reportedly offering Iverson their full MLE, or mid level exception, which is $5.8 million for one year.

Both the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies. have also been trying to sign Iverson. The Grizzlies have been reportedly offered Iverson the same amount of money the Clippers are, and the Heat want Iverson for half of that. It has also been noted that the Bobcats have been interested in Iverson near the season's end.

The Clippers drafted Blake Griffin with the number one pick, and traded away Zach Randolph for Quentin Richardson this off-season.

The Clippers currently have promising SG Eric Gordon and it is uncertain if the Clippers would start Iverson or bench him, something he hates.

Iverson caused some controversy and lowed his value this year, but not wanting to come off the bench for the Detroit Pistons.

This was first reported by ESPN.
