Manchester United eliminated Spanish giants Barcelona in the semifinals, while Chelsea knocked out English rivals and five time winners Liverpool to book a place in the final.
Itās the first time in nine years Manchester United will be making the trip to the final and few can forget what happened the last time they made it. Itās an entire different case for Chelsea, who will be participating in the first European final in their history.
But history will be nothing more than a diminutive fact when the two sides meet in Moscow later this month. It has all the makings of a mouth watering and unforgettable contest.
Throughout the season, especially in the latter fraction, people have been hailing England as Europeās finest league. Few can argue with this statement after three English teams made it to the semi finals of the Champions League for the second consecutive season.

Manchester United won the English Premier League last year while Chelsea finished as runners-up in Europeās pre-eminent league. With two games left to play in the league this season, Manchester United leads Chelsea only by a superior goal difference.

Manchester United has one of footballās most successful managers ever in Sir Alex Ferguson. The Scotsman has created yet another squad capable of reaching great heights.
Chelsea is led by Avram Grant, who is by no means known for his achievements, but has forged a powerful team following the departure of Jose Mourinho.
Itās hard to separate these two teams at the moment, but when it comes to choosing Europeās best two clubs, it is a much simpler task.
Manchester United and Chelsea can already claim to be Englandās best two clubs, but they are now worthy of asserting themselves as the best two clubs in all of Europe.
