Brandon Bass vs. Marcin Gortat: Tale of the Tape

When Marcin Gortat signed an offer sheet with the Dallas Mavericks one week ago, nobody knew how the Orlando Magic would react.

Would they match the offer? Would they replace him? Going with the latter, Magic General Manager Otis Smith signed Brandon Bass on Friday.

Assuming the Magic do not match Dallas’ offer for Gortat, let’s take a look at the tale of the tape between the reserve big men who essentially swapped places this offseason.
