A day after Tyler Kennedy spent the day with the Stanley Cup in Sault Ste. Marie, he passed it on to Philippe Boucher on July 4th.

The Cup's day was somewhat similar to that with TK as it began with a trip to the family's cottage in Lac St-Joseph where a party of 200 people were waiting.

Several NHL players were among the invited guests at Philippe’s party. Penguins’ netminder Mathieu Garon was there to share the celebration with his teammate. Eric Belanger, who spent last season with the Minnesota Wild, was at the party. He had played with Philippe in Los Angeles with the Kings. Stephane Robidas and Junior Lessard, both teammates of Boucher’s with the Dallas Stars, were there, too. Also there was Marc Chouinard, who spent last season playing in Germany.
Then it was off on a boat ride where they floated in the middle of the lake for a few hours then back to the cottage where they celebrated early into the morning.

The next morning started off a busy day with his kids, Mathieu and Vanessa, eating their fruitloops from the Cup bowl. Afterwards, it was off to a local church to meet with the Mayor for a few pictures then into a helicopter to the golf course Boucher is part-owner of, Club de Golf la Tempete in Levi.
The rest of the afternoon was spent raising money for Boucher's charity for children in need.
Boucher's final event with the Cup was a banquet for 200 at Chez Maurice restaurant where his family and friends enjoyed a meal.
