More at Stake at UFC 100 Than Brock Lesnars and Georges St-Pierres Belt

We all know what technically is on the line, the Heavyweight title, the welterweight title and of course a shot at the middleweight title.

What exactly though is on the line here? What is the aftermath of this event to end all events?

First off there are a few under-card fights with allot on the line. The first one being Stephan Bonnar vs. Coleman. Two men at cross roads, Colman a hall of famer and former heavy weight champion. His opponent is non other then TUF season 1 runner up.

Coleman is 44 years old and had a less than entertaining return fight against Mauricio "Shogun"  Rua. He really needs to step it up in this fight and at least put up some kind of a good fight, or else I'm afraid it's all over for the legend.

Bonnar is 32 and a seasoned vet he is also at a cross roads of sort. If he wants to make a run at the title and really come back he needs to do it now. He needs to destroy Mark Colman and really send notice to the lhw division, a message that says im back and im coming for that title.

A loss for Bonnar would be disastrous. He lost to Jon Jones but we can cut him some slack. He was coming off a over year lay off and fought a very game young fighter. But a loss to a over the hill fighter (as decorated as he may be) will spell doom.

It maybe a physiological blow he won't recover from, as younger fighters pass him and he falls in to every ones after thoughts.

A win for either of these men will put them back on track. Odds are square off against the looser of Jon Jones and jake obrian fight or maybe even Matt Hammil or Brandon Vera.

Which brings me to the next fight. Jon Jones and Jake O' Brian are two young studs looking to make a name for them selves. Both are coming off big wins. The two talents have great tools around there belts, Jake with his wrestling and Jones with his unorthodox striking.

A win for either man will definitely put them up some where in the upper middle of the division with Brandon Vera, Luiz Cane, Matt Hammil and Thiago Silva. With both of them being so young the skys the limit.

Although a loss is still a loss and at this stage in either of there young carrer's the talks will come about "overrated" especially in Jon Jones case.

I can see the headlines already "ALL HYPE" and for Jake it would be no picnic with a loss either. That will be 3 losses in four fights. Having to jump down to 205 after two back-to-back losses. So needless to say there is allot on the line here.

Now we move on to the main card. We have John Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago two men who are looking for a crack at the title. Fitch is Coming off of a solid win over Gono, Paulo is coming in off a huge up set win over Koscheck.

I for one don't see why this match is happening. Paulo won that fight off of a flash uppercut, yes, Paulo could be the real deal but that fight still leaves him up in the air.

Personally, I think Fitch should be fighting some one a little higher in the ranking. And thiago some one a little lower.

This is what happens tho when you score a big win early. Some times it can be a curse more then a blessing. Paulo has great BJJ so lets see how Fitche's Wrestling can counter it. Odds are Fitch won't want to stand with him on the off chance lighting strike's twice so we will see a classic ground match.

A loss for Paulo wont really be a bad thing. It will only be his first loss so he wont suffer much aside from people saying he was a fluke. A loss for Fitch however would send him back to the bottom and with a stacked division, it wont be easy to get back to the top.

A win for Paulo would possibly set up a match with Marcus Davis. A loss would possibly be Kevin Burns. Now a win for Fitch would be great and I can see him going up against a number of people such as Hughes, Swick or even Anthony Johnson.

The breakdowns for the three main events have been done to death so I will spare you that. What I will say is a loss for Dan Henderson would be horrendous, It will probably be Hendo's last shot at a title. He is a legend but he is up there in age. A win is obvious a shot at Anderson Silva. A loss will get him back up to the 205 div.

A loss for Michael Bisping won't be too bad, but will be a blow to the English crowed. He will end up facing the looser of Nate Marquart vs. Damien Mya Or perhaps the looser of Wilson Govaia James Irvin. A win well we all know he gets Anderson Silva—lucky him.

Now On to the Welter Weight Title fight. GSP and Thiago Alves are with out a doubt the two best in there division. They are going to be each others biggest test. A win For GSP would signify him emptying the Division, there would be no one left.
